Alocasia Portora is an enormous alocasia that needs plenty of bright light or direct sun in order to keep up with its dimensions and bright green color foliage. As it's usually planted outdoors, there's no difficulty in providing these conditions, but indoors is not that easy.
Alocasia ‘Portora’ boasts large, upright leaves that resemble elephant ears. They are deep green in color and prominently veined. The leaves are held high on sturdy, thick stalks, giving this plant a majestic presence.
It’s a ‘low rider’, a dwarf mutation of the ‘Portora’. I’ve personally seen several variegated specimens of both varieties & it’s possible for them to have either aurea (gold) or “white” variegation.

The ‘Low Rider’ requires bright, indirect sunlight and humidity levels around 60 – 70%. The soil will need to be kept continually moist – not too dry and certainly not too soggy.
