18 sie 2017 · There are two ways to easily reach Alki Beach from downtown Seattle. With access to a car, one can easily drive across the West Seattle bridge and take the Harbor Avenue exit to cruise along the waterfront road that parallels the beach.

Alki Beach Park is a long beach strip that runs roughly from 64th Place SW to Duwamish Head on Elliott Bay. It's a great spot for a long walk any time of year, and in the summer draws joggers, rollerbladers, volleyball players, sunbathers, bicyclists and strollers out to enjoy the sun.
While in operation, the park’s lights could be seen from downtown Seattle; today people go to the Luna Park Seawall for the views of downtown Seattle. Highlights: Alki Beach Park – 2.5 miles of sandy beach, with a great seawall for walking and people watching. The park runs from Duwamish head to Alki Point.
Alki Beach has an entirely different feel from the rest of Seattle: on a sunny day this 2-mile stretch of sand could be confused for California. There’s a bike path, volleyball courts on the sand, and rings for beach fires. Look for the miniature Statue of Liberty, donated by the Boy Scouts.
