So it arrived and thus far, I've been woefully disappointed /w the monitor, I don't think I've ever been this let down by a monitor since I've switched to 120/144/240Hz monitors which started a good 5+ years ago. Here are a current list of the issues that I seem to be facing.
7 paź 2024 · I am writing to formally lodge a complaint regarding my Alienware 25 Gaming Monitor (AW2521HF), which I purchased on 30/07/2021. The monitor has developed a significant backlight defect.
Response time table for the Alienware AW2521H (IPS, 360Hz) on Extreme OD. Pretty much no gaming monitor actually gets to 1ms even in ideal scenarios.
31 lip 2022 · The Alienware AW2518HF monitor ships with the incorrect monitor timings which causes frameskipping and terrible ghosting even with no overdrive. The manual specifications do not specify what the proper monitor timings should be other than the horizontal/vertical frequencies and pixel clock totals.
I bought mine yesterday and I'm having this issue. I left the room for 20mins and came back to a screen full of vertical lines. I fixed it by using the LCD Conditioning setting on the monitor. If I'm going to have to do that every day, it sounds like a PITA and I think I'll be returning it.

20 maj 2020 · The Dell Alienware AW2521HF is much better than the Samsung T55, mainly due to its 240Hz refresh rate. It has an exceptional response time, both at its max refresh rate and at 60Hz. The Dell also has wider viewing angles, a lower input lag, better ergonomics, and it gets brighter.
