21 mar 2012 · Here is a set of model sheets from that seminal classic of my youth, CHALLENGE OF THE SUPERFRIENDS. If I had to list the animated series that defined my childhood, the many incarnations of Superfriends would rank just under BATTLE OF THE PLANETS.

Alex Toth is of course a legend and his output for Hanna Barbera in the early days is just incredible. We have production copied (photocopies made and used at the time of the shows) model sheets of many characters from Mr. Toth.
3 sty 2006 · This is an Alex Toth model sheet printed as a cel with two of the figures hand-colored. Superfriends ran through the '70s and early '80s. Toth was responsible for storyboarding many of the early episodes as well as the main character designs.
26 cze 2020 · These are gorgeous ALEX TOTH head shots of ROBIN. Alex’s art was transferred onto acetate, and then it was HAND PAINTED on the reverse side, and used as a “model sheet” for animators that produced the series.
