The Alcohol Unit Calculator allows you to calculate the number of units in any alcoholic drink in any size drinking vessel. Simply enter the alcohol percentage of the drink and the vessel volume in millilitres (ml). A selection of common measures is shown for ease of use.
Figures from Statistics on Alcohol, England 2019, found that 63% of men and 52% of women had drunk alcohol in the last week, and 21% of adults drunk more than 14 units per week. The proportion of men and women drinking was shown to increase with age, with the highest among both men and women aged 55 to 65 (72% and 63% respectively).
To make it easier, please use this calculator. Enter the volume of the alcoholic drink and its alcohol percentage. You will get the amount in alcohol standard units.
Use our Alcohol Calorie Calculator to determine your daily, weekly, and yearly calorie intake from alcohol. This tool will enlighten you on how reducing your alcohol consumption helps in your weight loss goals.
Calculate your units and calories across the week. Our Unit and Calorie Calculator will work out the number of alcohol units and calories you consume so you can better understand how much you're drinking.
The calculator will show you the calories you consume per week from alcohol beverages. It's important to lose weight slowly, at a rate of about 1/2 to 2 pounds a week. To lose 1 pound a week, you need to consume 500 fewer calories a day than your body burns.
