A native of Shreveport, Louisiana, Elliott Jones enters his fourth season as head baseball coach at Alabama A&M after being named to that position on October 23, 2020. He brings with him eight years of experience within the Southwestern Athletic Conference (SWAC) at Grambling State (2018-20) and Southern (2013-17).

Elliot Jones is an American baseball coach and former first baseman, who is the current head baseball coach of the Alabama A&M Bulldogs. He played college baseball at Southern for coach Roger Cador from 2012 to 2014.

Elliot Jones, a native of Shreveport, Louisiana, will take over for the Bulldogs in the 2020-21 season becoming the 2nd head coach in the last two years for the baseball program.
