The Piano Guys is an American musical group consisting of pianist Jon Schmidt, cellist Steven Sharp Nelson, videographer Paul Anderson, and music producer Al van der Beek.
MUSIC PRODUCER/SONGWRITER. Al van der Beek was born in Tokoroa, New Zealand to a Dutch father and a Samoan mother — thus making him one of the first Dutch-Samoans in existence. His family moved to Salt Lake City, Utah when he was about four years old.
