7 lip 2024 · These videos show the cockpit layouts and labels the controls and instruments. There's a old guide called BOX Quick Guide, but it doesn't have the newer aircraft. The P-47 tailwheel lock is located on the floor on the right side. It has a red knob and has a label. The P-51 tailwheel lock is operated by holding the stick back of the neutral point.

22 paź 2019 · These are typical P-51 schematics. This is a Technical Drawing, previously known as a Blueprint and never as a Schematic. This particular part was used in most NAA aircraft starting with the NA-19 (BT-9) through to the P-51. It was superseded by the almost identical standard part 2C25 in May 43 and continued in use for years on many aircraft.
8 paź 2006 · I was planing to build a P-51 cockpit reproduction 1:1 for flight simulation using I would appreciate if any of you could adress me or proporcionate some good blueprints and/or real dimensions of the cockpit section of the aircraft, useful for a rebuilding... if possible free to download.
Each tank has a dedicated fuel level indicator: wing tank inidicators are located on the cockpit floor and the rear tank indicator is behind the pilot seat on the left. The tailwheel rotates freely, but moving the control stick back locks it so it rotates by the pedals input.
You will know that the '51 fuselage is based around 4 longerons, well, as I wasn't intending building below the cockpit floor, I could start with a single sheet and build up on it. Simples .
