It’s also bustling with local vendors, street food wagons and mazes of narrow sidestreets where tall minarets peak out above the rooftops.
Almoez street (Shariʻa al-Muizz li-Deen Illah), the greatest concentration of medieval architectural treasures in the Islamic world. At approximately one kilometer long, this beautiful street features all kinds of colorful shops selling spices, old antiques, clothes and perfumes.
