18 cze 2015 · Are you wanting to use the MPC Software without a Ren or Studio? Yes that's always been possible, but only once you've activated the software using the hardware. Once your installation has been initially activated you can run the software on its own whenever you wish, no hardware needed.
2 lip 2015 · Sometimes I want to use the MPC software on my laptop on the road, meaning I don't have the hardware available. I've tried but no sounds come out, I registered the software and hardware.
I am still trying to figure out what's best for me but the Renaissance seems fantastic. I watched a few videos but was never able to get full clarification on if it works without being connected to a computer or not, I much prefer to not have it hooked up to a computer all the time.
9 mar 2021 · MPC software and Standalone would probably be best if same version. In controller mode, save project properly to sd, usb stick, or direct to standalone mpc’s extra ssd, the one you install (not the default mpc internal, never never, never, lol).
