I’ve posted three times in this chat, politely requesting your help to change my name back to PicklePixs or grant a ‘change name’ token so I can change it myself. I’ve read the Bungie name policy and I don’t see anything offensive in my name that is also the same name as my Xbox and Twitch account.
New players can choose their Bungie Name by changing their platform name prior to logging into Destiny 2 for the first time. Numeric IDs are random and cannot be chosen. Names are processed through Bungie's character filtration and offensive term moderation system.

Press the "Save" button. A player's platform account (s) will appear as a recommendation when attempting to change a Bungie Name.
I found a work around for the name changing bug, that some of u may be having myself included. *Confirmed working*. logging on Bungie.net. Go into identity settings. Right click on the name field. click inspect or Q (Firefox) 5)Locate the word disabled and delete it. (only that word)
5 mar 2024 · If your nickname is inapropriate, the game gonna change it. If you want to change nickname by yourself, you need to log in on bungie's website via steam and change it in account's settings
Tomorrow, a one-time name change will become available for all players to update their Bungie name by logging in to http://Bungie.net. This one-time name change will become available after Hotfix 4.0.0.3 goes live tomorrow morning at 9:00 AM PST (1700 UTC).
