You need to have your MiWAM online account to claim your employment benefits. This account allows you to access and manage all your unemployment benefits and make claims online. After creating a new account and logging in, you can also regularly update your job search progress on the online portal.
MiWAM is the UIA's system for managing your own unemployment insurance account online. With MiWAM you can: Check claim balance and benefit payment history. Update personal information. Choose or change payment method (debit card or direct deposit). Make a payment. File a protest or appeal a decision. Submit monthly work search information.
