Agave is a very easy-to-work-with, responsive, positive-spirited, volunteer based dog rescue. Many deserving dogs are saved from high kill shelters, and we volunteers work hard and enjoy what we do. Whether you are seeking to adopt a dog, or to volunteer/foster a dog, I highly recommend Agave.
Agave Dogs Rescue does not have a shelter location. We are a foster based rescue with volunteers housing rescue dogs in their homes until adoption. All of our foster homes are within 45 minutes of Portland, Oregon.
You're ready to take the plunge and adopt a rescue dog! We look forward to helping you find the right dog to match your lifestyle. After you complete an adoption application we will call you to talk about the dog you're interested in and if we feel it may be a good match, connect you with the foster home who has the dog and knows it well.
