All of its assets will be transferred to Ham Radio Outlet (HRO), another amateur radio retail dealer. There will be no going out of business sale, only a transfer of goods.

6 lip 2016 · According to a recent post on CQ Newsroom, Amateur Electronic Supply AES is going out of business in July 2016. AES, one of the largest Ham Radio dealers in the USA, has been serving the amateur “ham” radio community since 1957! AES has four shops : Milwaukee, Cleveland, Las Vegas, Orlando.
He told me, that even in the best of times, the profit margin on amateur radio gear is razor thin. His company made nearly 90% of the profits in commercial radio and services. The ham radio side was nearly a loss in any given quarter of the year.
