Multi value mods like Overextended are acqired via Deimos vaults (build Dragon key, equip it in gear wheel, you have 25% chance to open the vault and get random mod). So on and so forth.

If you’re only using archon vitality to double the heat procs, then it’s best to leave it at rank 0. This frees up mod capacity, and also because health isn’t important. Low level enemies can’t kill you and high level enemies one shot you (toxin procs).
