30 cze 2015 · Adverse Events. There are three major types of adverse events associated with furosemide: hypovolemia and electrolyte imbalance due to diuresis, hypersensitivity, and ototoxicity. Excessive diuresis due to high doses of the drug can induce extracellular fluid volume contraction, resulting in contraction alkalosis.
