Automatic dependent surveillance — contract (ADS-C): means by which the terms of an ADS-C agreement will be exchanged between the ground system and the aircraft, via a data link, specifying under what conditions ADS-C reports would be initiated, and what data would be contained in the reports.
30 maj 2022 · ADS-C is a major step towards trajectory-based operations, offering controllers a clearer picture of aircraft intentions and sector loads. It is one of the first steps towards future automation, with reduced fuel costs, fewer emissions, improved safety and more efficient air navigation services.
9 mar 2023 · ADS-C is a datalink-based way of requesting different types of information directly from the aircraft’s flight management system, without pilot interaction. This means it enables aircraft to automatically downlink aircraft intent to the MUAC system, which can be displayed on controllers’ screens.
15 paź 2024 · A small, difficult but significant step has been taken to link ground and airborne systems in an operational context with the implementation of Automatic Dependence Surveillance – Contract (ADS-C) services in the core traffic area of Europe.
The Automatic Dependent Surveillance - Contract (ADS-C) common service (ACS) is a service that distributes ADS-C data, such as extended projected profile (EPP), speed schedule, or meteorological (MET) information, downlinked from aircraft to relevant ground users, including air traffic service (ATS) units, the network manager (NM) system, ...
Data Link Services. Using all communication sources on the aircraft, we provide Controller-Pilot Data Link Communications (CPDLC) and Automatic Dependent Surveillance-Contract (ADS-C) capabilities.
SURVEILLANCE - ADS Contracts A contract = agreement between air and ground on information to transmit to the ground. Three types of contract defined : ADS basic group (interval T) + a set of additional groups with for each group a reporting rate defined as multiple of the basic reporting Demand Contract Event Contract Basic group + a set of
