Advanced Design System (ADS) 2025 includes new capabilities for RF/MW, High Speed Digital, Power and Quantum Electronics applications, with powerful enhancements to 3DEM, layout verification, electro-thermal simulation, circuit simulation models, data & design management, and high-performance-computing (HPC).
Keysight ADS is the industry-proven multi-technology 3D layout and integrated EM-circuit co-simulation platform for designing RF modules that contain radio frequency integrated circuits (RFICs) , packaging, antennas, and RF printed circuit boards (PCBs).
This video demonstrate how to use Keysight ADS simulation software to design and simulate 2x2 rectangular patch antenna array
ADS (Advanced Design System) from Keysight is an electronic design automation software for RF, microwave, and high speed digital applications.
1. Open ADS, create a workspace for this design. 2. Now we want to design a patch antenna like this: Generally, patch antenna has a shape of rectangle, and it can be feed with copper cable or microstrip line in our case. In the drawing above, blue area is the substrate and brown area represents the top conducting layer which is half of the antenna.
