The scammer is hoping for you to reply or phone the listed number, or to “log in” via their links. Report as suspected phishing to your IT department, inform HR that you didn’t make changes to direct deposit, and consider phoning ADP via a phone number from their website (NOT this email).
This sounds like someone is trying to sign up for something using your details. Some services require phone verification, which is why they do this. You may get contacted by a scammer trying to get you to hand the code over under some false pretext. Don't give them anything.
