The Six Nations Indian Museum is in a remote part of the Adirondacks, Onchiota, which is as close to nature as it can be. Yet it seems to be one of the most popular and powerful centers of Iroquois history in New York state.
Six Nations Indian Museum depicts historical and contemporary Haudenosaunee culture through artifacts, art, and oral history. The museum is open Tuesdays through Sundays from 10 am to 5 pm in July through August.
