Training load is a variant of the Training Peaks Acute Training Load (ATL). ATL is the 7 day average of your Training Stress Score (TSS). TSS is a calculation that compares your HR to your lactate threshold heart rate and awards points for how close to your lactate threshold you are at each minute.

After cycling, I would have to sync my Edge with Garmin Connect, then Connect to the Fenix (assuming sending the activity to the watch), and then watch to Connect. This would effectively get the 7-day load to work. Since the update, I don't get any of the load numbers.
