adbFire is a companion program for FireTV XBMC, (Gotham and later only). It allows you to sideload XBMC and other apps without the hassle of downloading the Android SDK and other tools. Additionally, it allows you to copy files to and from XBMC, backup and restore XBMC's data, root the FireTV and more.
12 paź 2015 · There are currently two major tools that allow rooting and sideloading apps on Amazon Fire TV: Amazon Fire TV Utility App and the adbFire app. The adbFire app is available for Windows, Mac, and Linux and is my application of choice for sideloading apps to Fire TV.
I'm trying to change my buffer settings, but I can't figure out how to push the advancedsettings.xml to the userdata folder. I have used adbfire to push the file to my Fire TV, but I don't know how to get it into the userdata folder.
I done everything from CLI but I think you could get away with adbfire for most. Exit bluestacks if installed as it screws with adb/adbfire, reboot adb server ('adb kill-server' followed by 'adb devices' reboots it), download the update file you want to install here: http://www.aftvnews.com/software/ Router block amazon update addresses.
