adbFire is a companion program for FireTV XBMC, (Gotham and later only). It allows you to sideload XBMC and other apps without the hassle of downloading the Android SDK and other tools. Additionally, it allows you to copy files to and from XBMC, backup and restore XBMC's data, root the FireTV and more.

I done everything from CLI but I think you could get away with adbfire for most. Exit bluestacks if installed as it screws with adb/adbfire, reboot adb server ('adb kill-server' followed by 'adb devices' reboots it), download the update file you want to install here:
