22 kwi 2020 · I have a Acer Aspire One that has the Windows 7 Starter. It was out of commission for a while and I got it working again. I am trying to update to the new Windows and I am unable to get this started. Can you please direct me to the correct download that I need?
When you upgrade, you’ll stay on like-to-like editions of Windows. For example, Windows 7 Home Premium will upgrade to Windows 10 Home.
When installation completes, you should have a fresh copy of Windows 7 Starter installed on your machine. You will need to download drivers for the D270 from Acer's website. You'll want to do this from that "other" computer, as well, and save them to a flash drive.
I have a aspire one with Windows 7 Starter. All updates have been applied. Windows 10 Compatibility Check says this is an Enterprise Edition and not eligible for upgrade. Short of buying a new Win 7 is there any way to upgrade to Win 10? What's the deal with the Enterprise Edition and not OEM?
