Since the phone number has changed, there is no way to recover the account. To reset the password you need access to the phone number.
Someone hacked my AppleID account and changed the Trusted Phone number and the Password. I have been unable to reset it on my own, and the overnight support has not been able to help either. I also can't get account recovery because I don't know what the phone number was that they changed it to.
I've been trying for a month and half to get my account recovered. I originally set it up for a work phone years ago and forgot about it. Now 4 years later I'm trying to get access to my old account. Tried forgot password but don't have access to my old work phone so initiated account recovery.

27 mar 2024 · If you received a notice from Reddit asking you to reset your password, please visit this article on Suspended or Locked Accounts. If you believe your account has been compromised, submit a request and select security problems, then I think my account has been hacked.
If you don’t know your password and can’t verify your account information, you'll receive the option to start the account recovery process. You can also start account recovery from iforgot.apple.com through your device’s browser.
