Apple support says there is no way to recover account if the Trusted Phone number gets changed, which is crazy as that is the first thing that someone would do. Anyway to get this resolved?
Any iCloud account that you know the phone number and email address of, and that has never logged in to a password-protected Apple device before. Honestly, $18,000 seems fair to me there - the award for an exploit that can compromise any iCloud account is $100,000.
The police have been fairly responsive about communicating with me re: checking security cameras but I don't have a lot of hope for a recovery of the phone. At this point all I really care about is regaining access to my iCloud account. A few questions: Can the police force Apple to give me access to my iCloud account?
