21 lis 2013 · If the cells are still not equal, the problem might be leading or trailing spaces or non-breaking spaces, especially if you cut-and-paste the data from a webpage. Confirm or dismiss this conjecture by entering the formula =LEN(C2) into E2 and copy down appropriately.
However, when I type the named range's name (Named_Range) into a cell (say F1) and use the following as the data validation source for my list, I don't get the drop-down list: =INDIRECT(F1) Searching around revealed that this is a know issue, but I can't get my head around a workaround.
8 kwi 2017 · If the sheet is unprotected and someone copy-pastes a cell, it'll overwrite everything including the data validation so there won't be anything to check against any more. Watch what happens when I try to copy / paste at the end of this video.
