I have 15 years of experience and I keep my resume to two pages by listing only my most recent positions (they’re also the ones most pertinent to my current career path, which helps).
I’m surprised to see resumes in this day and age from experienced professionals (with 10+ years) having typos and grammatical errors. I’m floored that some candidates think 3 pages is acceptable. Personally, regardless of how experienced you are (even with 30+ years), I think 2 should be max.
The answer most recruiters would give you is: your resume should be as long as it takes to articulate your experience and background very well. In other words, you could fill 3 pages with 'fluff', and it would be crap.
