After a student selects Accelerated Reader on the Home page, he or she can take Reading Practice, Vocabulary Practice, Literacy Skills, and Other Reading Quizzes. To see a video demonstration of how students take a quiz, click here. Students should take quizzes within 24 hours of finishing a book.

To get to the Show Quiz Answers preference page, follow these steps: On the Home page, select your initials in the top right corner. Then, choose Edit Preferences from the menu that opens. You can also use the Accelerated Reader menu.
Adding Teacher-Made Quizzes is a two-part process: first, you must add basic information about the quiz; then, you add the questions and answers. Each time the quiz is taken by a pupil, the questions will be presented in a random order.. Go to Accelerated Reader, Manage Quizzes page.

Once you have created the quiz file, you can share it with teachers at other Accelerated Reader schools who want to use your quiz. Those teachers will still need to follow these steps to upload the file and enter the book information.
