Each season, the Academy produces professional quality shows for the Meadville community. Over 100 volunteers work to perform in over 70 performances, serving over 10,000 patrons. Our-135-year old facility has seating for 470, including handicapped accessible seating and restroom facilities.

We experienced The Wizard of Oz with another couple. The acting, choreography, costumes, sets and sound were superb. This is fine quality home town entertainment. We highly recommend Academy Theater as affordable and fine quality. We can't say enough positive accolades for this Community Theater in such a finely restored 131 year old theater.
