As a gamer, anti-ubisoft activist (hater) and massive Assassin's Creed NONFAN - I absolutely love Valhalla. Here is my no spoiler breakdown for all thinking if this game is worth their (massive amount) of time.
Hello all, here's my pretty grounded review after finally finishing massive game: This one felt better in more ways than not compared to Odyssey. Some things I really appreciated were the varied nature of the side quests and overall open world activities.
Assassin's Creed Valhalla is the best tale the franchise has ever told, featuring the most varied and rewarding gameplay the series has seen in years. Valhalla will forever dine in Odin's Hall as one of the greatest RPGs of this generation. PS4 Vamers - Edward Swardt: 95 ~ 95 / 100
AC Valhalla was game-play wise in no way innovative from its predecessors. It even lacked the key aspects and elements (like stealth and a focus on literally, 'assassins') that made previous installments fresh, and recycled other elements so that it felt like a giant déjà-vu from time to time.

According to various reviews and reddit chatter, the game is too damn long by far, has tacked on traditional AC stuff that doesn't live up to the hype, has broken stealth, has too few gear options many of which are hidden behind a paywall, has lackluster free DLCs, and an annoying upgrade system.
