I'd recommend against Grande Absente (heavily sugared), Pernod (a pale shadow of what it used to be), Gruene Fee, and Absinthe Ordinaire. Those all have fairly bad reputations, although Pernod and Ansinthe Ordinaire are decent enough that they really don't deserver to be lumped in with Grande Absente and Gruene Fee. 4.
