8 lis 2015 · I have a 1990 YJ with no engine that I am ready to rebuild for my teenage daughter. Does anyone know what jeep engine options would work for as a replacement? Is a 1990 Cherokee engine compatible? It has an AX15 transmission.
3 mar 2010 · You have a great engine to start with, generally speaking the 4.2L is a great Jeep engine. It not a performance engine but great on torque. Look into the MC2100 carb mod, the Team Rush mod and the nutter by pass.
