19 paź 2011 · There are a few header options for your engine. The stock log type manifold does not do a good job of flowing exhaust. There are 2 major designs of headers: 4-2-1 and 4-1, 4-1 will move the powerband up a bit, 4-2-1 is better for mid-range. Raceland sells a header, as does OBX.
15 maj 2009 · If you plan on running the Turbo Inlet Pipe through the stock location, you will very likely need to grind that CCV port on the front of the 1Y manifold and fill the hole into the plenum. The 1X manifold require a whole lot of grinding on the back to fit over the vnt15(same as vnt17) EGR port.
The BRM intake manifold is a popular upgrade in TDI truck swaps and builds. Usually to replace the flawed earlier intake manifolds with uneven/poor flow. It even is better than the common PD150 intake upgrade, and includes gasket.

20 maj 2006 · Does an 8v dx manifold fit the 2.0l 8v head? and does an aftermarket 16v 'conversion manifold (usually designed for the 1.8kr) fit the 2.0l abf head? (or a 16v scirocco manifold but they are harder/more expensive to find than conversion manifolds!).
