Since the vast majority of content on broadcast TV and streaming platforms is lower than 8k, 8k TVs must interpolate a huge percentage of pixels to make up the difference. Purchasing EU. I'm getting trouble on deciding which TV should I buy. I was nearly buying an LG OLED CX 55 from 2020 until I found an LG 8K Nanocell956, costing 300$ less than the OLED. People seem to agree that LG made an extraordinary work with the Full Array Dimming, saying that is very close to the OLED (obviously it will never be equal).
