I'm getting trouble on deciding which TV should I buy. I was nearly buying an LG OLED CX 55 from 2020 until I found an LG 8K Nanocell956, costing 300$ less than the OLED.
Also OLED is much better than LCD. 8k is worse because there is like no 8k content and there is too much upscaling required. Just buy 4k oled. 8k is a waste of money since there’s hardly any 8k content. I’d argue HDR is a bigger improvement than 4k was.

So basically, the only native 8k content I watch is from YouTube, which is a bit overkill. My advise would be to wait 2-3 years before buying an 8k TV. If 8k become available on main platform like Netflix, the price of TVs will decrease a lot.
