The short answer is that both of your schematics are correct. My first question is what size gas plane and how many servos? What radio are you using? I suggest a power safe RX at 50cc and above.
First off is you'll need a gas stopper for your fuel tank as the ones that come with them will disintegrate in gas. You'll also want a remote switch for your ignition. 42% make a very nice opti-kill switch. I use RCats RC-100 solid state switches but the 42% is just as good and you won't need to solder anything.
25 lis 2013 · Here's a generic fuel system diagram for a plane with three tanks plus a UAT. It was done for a Jetcat P-120SE with a keroplug and includes recommended tubing sizes.
