29 sty 2015 · I've been searching the internet for information on how to set up a gas plane. From what I've been able to gather, I drew up some diagrams. Dark Yet?? The short answer is that both of your schematics are correct. My first question is what size gas plane and how many servos? What radio are you using? I suggest a power safe RX at 50cc and above.
3 sty 2010 · Use solder-on fuel line barbs and aircraft safety wire to secure the lines to the fuel tubes in your tank. Some use small nylon ties instead of safety wire and that seems to work okay too. I like two clunk lines in the tank - one for fuel pickup to the carb and the other for fueling/defueling.
25 lis 2013 · Here's a generic fuel system diagram for a plane with three tanks plus a UAT. It was done for a Jetcat P-120SE with a keroplug and includes recommended tubing sizes. Please note that the tubing length between the T's and the Left/Right tank should be identical so that the fuel is drawn equally from both tanks.
26 lis 2013 · RC Jets - fuel tank plumbing for 3 tanks and UAT diagram inside - I recommend putting a -6 shutoff valve before the pump. This will allow you to starve the pump of fuel should you need to such as during the runaway I experienced above.
29 cze 2017 · Most modern fuel tanks designed for model aircraft are compatible with gasoline fuels. Some need a special stopper or other interior plumbing component and those needs should be on the label or in the product description.
All R/C fuel tanks assemble in a similar manner and these basic philosophies apply to all tanks: Always deburr metal fittings to prevent cuts in the silicone fuel line. Always set up the feed line inside the tank so that it is approximately 1/4" from the rear of the tank.
