Child Development Associate® (CDA) Training Certification Program. Our Self-Study CDA programs meet the 120 clock hours of professional development required by The Council for Professional Recognition in order to obtain the National CDA Credential with an Infant/Toddler or Preschool setting.
A CDA credential is earned by completing several requirements and passing the CDA exam. The first requirement is to complete 120 hours of professional education in ECD (Early Childhood Development). The second is to complete 480 hours of work experience, paid or unpaid, with the specific age group that you apply for.
Child Care Lounge is is an approved Training Sponsoring Agency with the California Early Care and Education Workforce Registry. Our online classes are accepted by the California Department of Social Services-Community Care Licensing Division, to meet annual in-service training requirements.
