24 cze 2021 · For the racers around Maryland it looks like 75-80 Dragway will be reopening. From post I've seen on facebook the track has been sold as of June 2021. The new owners are leasing it out to someone who is working to clean up the track and are hoping to have it open mid July 2021.
1 lip 2021 · I was pleased to learn the legendary 75-80 Dragway in Monrovia MD (DC Suburb) is being resurrected by promoter Terris Hicks. The track opened in 1960 and was operated for 45 years by owner Bill Wilcom until its closure in 2005.
26 lut 2018 · There are many reasons the track closed, but anyone who truly cared about 75-80 fought the local government to keep it open. Plans are to use the land to build the Monrovia Town Center , but in the racer’s opinion, no one asked for the new development in the first place.
