Photos from the Mopar Day at 75-80 Dragway in Monrovia, MD, June 4, 2011. They were running test-and-tune at the same time and some folks from a nearby British car show came by, so there will be some non-Mopars in the set (more Triumph TR8's than I've ever seen before in my life!).
19 sie 2012 · The track crew did a great job getting a few spills cleaned up and the track back in great condition. New track an class records all around. Gallery HERE. Gary Walker reset the Big Tire Outlaw record at 3.97 seconds and backed it up as well as winning the event over Bob Bailey.
The last night of racing ever for 75-80 Dragway. Francis Motorsports was lucky enough to be in the final of the 5.80 index class.
21 sty 2014 · Yesterday I went over to 75-80 Dragway in Md. and took some photos. I'll post them later. They haven't torn up the track yet, The old Wilcom Inn located at the intersection of Rt. 75 and 80 is still up and running.
26 lut 2018 · 75-80 Drag way in 2016. The 75-80 Drag way began its local legacy in early 1960. The owner of the track, Mr. Bill Wilcom had just arrived home from being stationed out West serving his time in the Airforce. He had began seeing race tracks popping up in empty fields and was inspired to bring the idea home with him.
