3 maj 2021 · Removing the partition in #2-5 makes a shorter path between the 1-2 shift valve and the 2-3 shift valve. Removing the ball from the adjacent pocket makes a much firmer 1-2 shift. The restrictor in #6-7 slows down the application of the front clutch to prevent severe overlap. Sometimes not needed.
28 kwi 2020 · #1. I've supposedly got a TCI valvebody in my 727. The trans builder put the and several parts into my trans. After giving him two chances to fix it, I tore I to myself and built it. The valvebody has no markings on it and it looks like a used old regular valvebody with a modest shift kit in it.
5 sty 2019 · There are some modifications inside the valve body. It's modified exactly like the transgo shift kit EXCEPT for the "shift command" feature that the transgo kit had. And the line pressure is turned way up past what transgo recommends.
23 cze 2024 · Rebuild kits can show various configuration of holes, springs, check balls, and all the channels in a valve body.. Based on your comparison of images and what you have, that it was rebuilt by Jasper with a shift kit you don't have a standard IH 727 valve body with associated normal kick-down mechanism..
Some pictures of a different 727 valve body on different on-line forums show a longer spring under the shuttle valve plug which would keep the plunger up near the end of it's bore, with the current set up the plunger sits a little ways down in the bore. Any help would be GREATLY appreciated!
