9 paź 2022 · I settled on using 700X when my older supply of Red Dot was gone. It’s a great powder that you can load light loads and 1250 loads with the same powder. I’ve always gotten good drops with 700X in the past.
28 paź 2010 · I used the 24 gram load data from Hodgdon's website because they don't list a load for 7/8 oz. using 700x powder. Could this be my problem? Is the load too light to produce a complete clean burn of the powder?
11 mar 2017 · Is this likely a bad powder for a 3.3" barrel? Is 230gr heavier bullet than 700-x likes? Any ideas what may be going on or insight on what the best uses for this powder would be greatly appreciated.
25 mar 2022 · This extruded flake powder is ideally suited for shotshells in 12- and 16-gauge where clay target and light field loads are the norm. It doubles as an excellent pistol target powder for such cartridges as the 38 Special, 45 ACP and many more.
25 wrz 2021 · Not that it's inherently a bad thing, but maybe keep an eye on quality and regularly review any independent analysis that you can find. I personally try to avoid Nestlé products, so was bummed to find out they've gobbled up some of the good ones.
