17 wrz 2017 · TLDR: Oxidized/bad contacts of the two flat flex cables from T-CON board to the LCD panel distribution board. I had the exact same issue and fixed it. For me the issue started with static equally spaced horizontal lines every 6 pixels (this may not be the same for you).
TVs use LED back or side lighting and do not have a large bulky back light and do not require an inverter board. Next the light passes through the LCD panel which is made up of millions of cells. As stated earlier the cells will control the flow of light through the display to create full color images. 12

Fairly recently I had my 2020 LG OLED65CX5LB go belly up with a loud bang following a lightning strike nearby, it may have been just a coincidence but the timing (within a few minutes of the strike) suggests not.
