The cooltube only loses effectiveness as the glass panel between the light and plant gets dirtier, so keep it very clean and you won't lose much, 10% at most if I remember my research right.

18 cze 2012 · I ran a 400 watter in a 6" cool tube. The bulb is very close to the reflector and glass in a cool tube causing some radiant heat. In a 4" tube that 600 watter would radiate heat like crazy. I would get the biggest one that fits in your space.
