13 sie 2024 · If the game is centered around heroic deeds and saving the world, a Good alignment may be more appropriate. Conversely, in a darker, morally gray campaign, a Neutral or even Evil alignment could provide interesting character dynamics and conflicts.
A creature's general moral and personal attitudes are represented by its alignment: lawful good, neutral good, chaotic good, lawful neutral, neutral, chaotic neutral, lawful evil, neutral evil, or chaotic evil. Alignment is a tool for developing your character's identity.
20 kwi 2021 · Good and Evil. The second axis of Alignment is the “Good vs. Evil” axis. Creatures which are “Good” tend to be altruistic, generous, and peaceful. Good characters often give of themselves to help others. Creatures which are “Evil” tend to be selfish, greedy, and sometimes even malicious.
14 kwi 2023 · The axis of good and evil describes a creature's morality, while the pull between law and chaos reflects their outlook on society and order. Put the two lines together, and out comes the alignment charts you've probably seen everywhere.
Alignment has two parts: Order, and Morals. Order contains Lawful, Neutral, and Chaotic, while Morals include Good, Neutral, and Evil. Together, you get a decent range of personality from Lawful Good, to Chaotic Evil.
