The Little League Baseball® program includes baseball divisions for all children, ages 4–16. The baseball divisions consist of the following: Tee Ball, Minor League, Major Division, Intermediate (50/70), Junior, and Senior Leagues.
Players who are league age 11-13 are eligible to be selected to an Intermediate (50/70) Division team for the regular season. The local league board of directors may decide to have a different age-cutoff for this division, provided it is within the grouping noted.

The Intermediate (50-70) Division offers an opportunity for League Age* 11-, 12-, and 13-year-old players to continue to play on a smaller field while expanding their baseball skills to include open bases, a longer pitching distance, and longer base paths.
