14 sty 2016 · 4' x 4' Layout is pretty small for the HO scale... largest circle can be done with 16 22" radii tracks, yielding 44" diameter circle, leaving barely 1 1/2" on each side, all around. Small one would be with 12 15" radii tracks, making 30" circle. Have he consider shelf layout instead of 4 by 4 table? This would involves lot of switching around.

25 wrz 2019 · Just Googling "4 X 8 HO Layouts" brings up a bunch of sites. As for as the curves, it's not that hard to figure out. It takes 6 pieces of 18" or 15" radius to make a half circle. It takes 8 pieces of 22" radius to make a half circle. For an 18" radius oval, you can fit a 9" straight on each end and six 9" straights longways.
25 cze 2017 · I am putting together a small or miniature track plan database for layouts that are 16 square feet(1.4864 square meters) or less. Sixteen square feet is equivalent to half the size of a 4 foot by 8 foot layout or a 4X8(32 square feet). Examples of a layout that is within 16 square feet are a 1X16, 2X8, 3X5, 4X4, 1.5X10, 1.25X12 and 2.5X6.
Plans in this section are designed for standard 4-foot by 8-foot sheets of plywood. Simple table-top benchwork will work for all of the plans. Track plans have been designed using Atlas' Right Track Software freeware v5.
