An 8k texture is rarely if ever used. 4K is more common but only really for hero characters and very specific objects. Guns etc are fine at 2K - remember a lot of what makes things look good isn’t just texture, but shader work. Also consider your engine.

Wireless 1k > Wired 8k, most games don't even support 8k yet so you would be stuck using 1k/2k/4k on it. If you want higher polling rate go for a Viper V2 Pro / Dav3 and a hyperpolling dongle. Or maybe even a HTS+ 4k if the shape interests you.
Some things I personally learned from this experiment: 8k gaming is a thing, it's damn pretty, I'd compare the jump in fidelity to the shock of when I moved up from 1080p to 4k, just this time from 4k up to 8k. If you are aiming for 60fps, 8k will not be your thing for a long time coming.
