24 paź 2010 · I have been running Windows 7 Ultimate 64-bit with 4GB of memory since Windows 7 launch. Overall, the performance is pretty acceptable. I tend to be a person that has a lot of applications opened at once.
If you are really into having more ram just get 8gb with the same speed for the dual channel with 8gb and enjoy the rest for more memory hungry application like chrome.

4 mar 2011 · For Windows 7, I find that 4 GBs of RAM is actually a fair minimum for regular business and home use. If more than 4 GBs is supported by the hardware, then I'll install a full 8 GBs.
